Event Details
The Grand Parade is one of the most anticipated traditions of the festival, bringing the community together for an afternoon of celebration, creativity, and hometown pride. Join us in Downtown Baldwin on Saturday at 1:00 PM as floats, local businesses, organizations, and community groups make their way through town.
Parade Route
The parade travels along Michigan Avenue through Downtown Baldwin, beginning near Dairy Queen and continuing through the downtown district. Spectators are welcome to line Michigan Avenue anywhere along the route for the best view.
What to Expect
The Grand Parade typically lasts about one hour, though the exact length may vary depending on the number of participants. Many parade entries hand out candy and other small giveaways along the route, so children may want to bring a bag or bucket to collect treats.
Safety Reminder
For everyone’s safety, please keep children out of the roadway and supervise them closely at all times. We kindly ask that parents and guardians help keep children from running into the street to collect candy. Thank you for helping us keep the parade safe and enjoyable for everyone.
