Little King and Queen Contest
Event Details
Come cheer on some of Troutarama’s youngest participants as they compete for the titles of Little King and Little Queen. This longtime festival tradition gives contestants the chance to show off their talents, take part in the excitement of Troutarama, and create special memories with their families.
Join us as we celebrate this year’s contestants and crown the 2026 Little King and Little Queen.
Contestant Requirements
Contestants must meet the following requirements to participate in the Little King & Queen Contest:
- The contestant must be 5, 6, or 7 years old at the time of the contest.
- A parent, grandparent, or guardian own property in Lake County, OR the the contestant attends Baldwin Community Schools.
- Previous winners of the Little King and Queen contest are not eligible.

Time: 5:30 PM
Location: Wenger Pavilion (behind Baldwin Business Center)
Little King & Queen Contest
Date: Thursday, July 16, 2026
Contestant Check-In: 5:00 PM
Contest Begins: 5:30 PM
Location: Wenger Pavilion (behind Baldwin Business Center)
Kiddie Parade
Date: Thursday, July 16, 2026
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: The Trout House (on 8th Street)
Grand Parade
Date: Saturday, July 18, 2026
Contestant Check-In: 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM
Parade Begins: 1:00 PM
