Visit the historical encampment during Troutarama to explore two unique living history displays: a Revolutionary War Soldier’s Encampment and a recreated Scandinavian Viking Fishing Village.
The Revolutionary War encampment will represent the 8th Massachusetts, a regular U.S. military unit with ties to Michigan history. Guests can also visit the Viking Fishing Village to learn about Scandinavian fishing history, watch demonstrations, and enjoy interactive talks throughout the day.
